Vitamin B-6 status linked to reduced all-cause mortality in elderly Taiwanese
Recently, the association of B-vitamin intake and status and all-cause mortality has been investigated in the Taiwanese Elderly Nutrition and Health Survey Study among 1,747 elderly participants over a 10-year follow-up period. Participants in the highest tertile (one-third) of vitamin B-1 intake had a 27% lower risk of all-cause mortality compared to those in the lowest tertile of vitamin B-1 intake. KEEP READING >>
